Young Leaders Award in Sport. In keeping with our commitment towards Lifelong Learning and Leadership skills for students at West London Schools Football Association.

The Young Leader Award is recommended for learners aged 11 and over, and takes approximately 6-10 hours to deliver. Learners will look at ‘FAST (Fun, Activity, Safety, Team work) PACE (Participants, Area, Communication, Equipment)’ and how these areas are represented through leadership

Pe Tutors will be given access to a number of games and activities that they can use with their learners within their sessions. There are 6 learner worksheets, these include self-evaluation, peer evaluation, session planning and looking at the aspects of ‘FAST PACE’ as mentioned above.

There is also a journal that each learner can complete, this journal has been designed to support the learner through the course and give space to record thoughts and ideas along the way. All the data collected will be stored safely and confidentially, and on completion the data will be disposed of securely.
